Integrated Label Sheet Specification All of our products are 100% guaranteed to perform – we never compromise on quality in pursuit of price. All integrated label sheets are produced using premium grade high white 90gsm pre-print grade Laser bond from FSC approved sources. Hi-tack self adhesive is used for all label products. All boxes are robust and a good snug fit to the 1,000 sheets they hold to ensure that the sheets cannot move around or suffer in transit. All boxes are individually shrink wrapped to further protect the sheets during transit but also to protect the boxes and sheets from moisture ingress until ready to be used. If you have purchased anything from an ecommerce site, the odds are that the goods were despatched using integrated labels in one way, shape or another. This is quite simply because they work! All our integrated label products are manufactured in much the same manner, the specific method simply depending upon the size and nature of the label(s) and the production quantity.
In essence, an area of self-adhesive is applied to one side of the paper along with a silicone release paper cover, whilst the other side is die-cut to create the peel-out area. The net effect is the very paper of the original sheet becomes a peel-out label. |
All production is web (reel) based and the self-adhesive patches are created in one of two ways:
• Using the Tamarack Web Finishing system a self-adhesive patch (including the silicone release paper) is applied from the reel. These patches are available in a wide variety of sizes catering for the vast majority of requirements with minimal wastage.
In both cases the opposite side of the paper is die-cut to create the label peel out area(s) required. Because the label is created from the sheet material itself, the overall profile is extremely flat resulting in extremely good paper handling and printing characteristics. By far the most popular application for integrated labels is in the despatch of goods. They speed up the despatch process enormously and all but eliminate the chances of despatching the goods to the wrong address. |
